Gary relaxing at a remote point in the Grand Canyon

After earning an MA in communications Gary Brown dived into broadcast television with a vengeance. He was producer of PM Magazine, a nightly half hour show on WSFA-TV in Montgomery, AL then moved to Birmingham for the same job at WBRC-TV. These were the golden years of local television and both of these shows had the highest ratings in the nation. You won't see numbers like that again.

After that show's run, Gary began working with what was then one of the largest production companies in the state. Here he shot and edited videos for the largest corporations in the southeast--BellSouth (now ATT), all the regional banks based in Birmingham, all of the hospitals, steel mills--we could go on and on. After that, Gary joined a sports marketing company as vice president of television production where he directed literally hundreds of televison shows for the University of Alabama including all of Gene Stallings' shows.

Finally in 1996 Gary decided that the software and hardware had evolved to a point he could afford to become an independent producer. He hasn't looked back.
